Dave is an investment, insurance and tax
advisor who has been practicing
socially
responsible investing (SRI) in Westport since
discovering the concept at a Quaker conference in
1986 and joining
First
Affirmative Financial Network in 1990. SRI ($2.1
trillion in the US alone) is growing more rapidly
than the wider investing world. Dave is a business
member of
Co-op America.
David Bedell, Stamford
David is an English teacher and Secretary of the
Fairfield County Green Party chapter. He is
running for
Registrar of Voters in Stamford.
Barbara Spitzer, PhD, Stamford
Barbara is a psychologist in private practice. She
has been active in the local
Peace Action chapter for almost 30 years and
more recently, the
Stamford Impeachment Committee, and raising
money to fight world hunger. She is also active in
promoting societal changes necessary to fight global
warning. She is professionally involved in
immigration issues interviewing individuals from all
parts of the world to help facilitate their
immigration process. Her global vision is to see a
world at peace with nations working together to
solve mutual problems through dialogue.
